Since 2010, Whitegate Cottage has been run as a holiday let, providing a welcoming and well equipped “home-from-home” for visitors to Cornwall. Built in the late 1800s as a miner’s cottage, Whitegate has been extended and updated by the current owner. Based in Goonbell, St Agnes and with easy access to the A30, it is an ideal family base to enjoy a buckets and spade beach holiday, or equally to explore all that Cornwall has to offer.

With two bedrooms (one with a comfy kingsize and the other with twin beds), the cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults plus an infant (high chair, travel cot and stairgates available on request). There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a dining table to seat 4 and a breakfast bar with stools next to a window overlooking the garden. There is also a light lounge with a woodburner, and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Unlimited wireless broadband is included.

To the front of the cottage is a small and sunny yard with seating for four, and to the rear is a pretty garden, planted up with colourful plants, seasonal flowers and shrubs. The front gate is bolted on the outside to ensure safety for small children and pets. There is unallocated parking on the road outside the cottage. Whitegate Cottage is dog-friendly and non-smoking.
