Built sometime prior to the 1880s, Whitegate is a traditional stone fronted miners cottage, which has been extended and refurbished to provide comfortable, relaxed and convenient accommodation for those wishing to holiday in the popular village of St Agnes.

Sleeping 4 (plus a travel cot if required), the cottage has one bedroom with a king size bed, bedside tables with individual lamps, chest of drawers, storage heater and mirror, with a window overlooking the pretty back garden. The front bedroom has two twin beds, fitted half-depth wardrobe and drawers and storage heater.  All beds have hotel grade mattresses to ensure you have a great nights sleep!

The small bathroom is also upstairs, with a white suite complemented by natural travertine stone tiling, a shower over the bath, wc and heated towel rail.

Downstairs is a light and spacious lounge, with comfortable seating for four, a woodburner, flatscreen tv (freeview) with DVD player, coffee table and storage heater. A selection of films, books, board games and jigsaws are provided.  For those who wish (or need!) to keep up with things, wireless broadband is also included.

The kitchen/diner is well equipped, with a table and seating for four (a high chair can be provided if required). An electric cooker, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer are provided, along with a good range of quality cooking equipment and crockery/cutlery. There is a breakfast bar with seating for two, which provides a view over the small enclosed garden (accessed by a stable door from the kitchen).

To the front of the property is a small, sunny enclosed yard, with an outside table and chairs for four, with tubs of flowers and a planter of fresh herbs which you are welcome to use for cooking. Parking is available on the road outside the property, (non-designated but free and without restrictions).

Bed linen and bath/household towels are provided, however beach towels are not. Please note: Cot bedding is not provided for Health and Safety reasons.  One bag of wood for the logburner is provided per rental week between the months of September - April, should guests wish more bags can be purchased at the local shop.

 A welcome tray is provided with tea, coffee, Cornish biscuits and a pint of fresh milk on arrival.
